Kerabie
Integrations

React Native SDK

Add Kerabie live chat to your iOS or Android app.

The Kerabie React Native SDK lets you embed a fully functional chat widget inside your iOS or Android app with a few lines of code.

Installation

npm install react-native-kerabie-helpdesk

For Expo managed workflow, also run:

npx expo install react-native-kerabie-helpdesk

Basic setup

Wrap your app (or just the screen where you want chat) with the provider:

import { KerAbieProvider } from 'react-native-kerabie-helpdesk';

export default function App() {
  return (
    <KerAbieProvider widgetKey="wk_yourkey_here">
      {/* your app */}
    </KerAbieProvider>
  );
}

Opening the chat widget

import { useKerabie } from 'react-native-kerabie-helpdesk';

function SupportButton() {
  const { openChat } = useKerabie();
  return <Button title="Chat with us" onPress={openChat} />;
}

Identifying the user

Pass the logged-in user's details so agents know who they're talking to:

<KerAbieProvider
  widgetKey="wk_yourkey_here"
  user={{
    name: 'Jane Smith',
    email: 'jane@example.com',
    userId: 'user_123',
  }}
>
