Getting Started
Your First Conversation
Test that everything is working end to end.
After installing the widget:
- Open your site in a browser
- Click the chat bubble in the corner
- Type a test message and hit send
Now open the Kerabie dashboard → Conversations. Your test message appears in real time.
Click Reply, type a response, and send; it appears in the widget immediately.
✓
If you see the exchange in both places, everything is working correctly.
Troubleshooting
Widget doesn't appear
- Check the widget key in your script matches the one in Settings → Widget
- Clear your browser cache and hard-reload (
Ctrl+Shift+R) - Check for JavaScript errors in the browser console
Message not showing in dashboard
- Make sure you're logged in to the right Kerabie account
- Check you're viewing the correct organisation if you have multiple
